competition. The country first
qualified for a FIFA World Cup
berth in the 1998 games in France.
There were 32 buddies produced, and their hang tags had the same information as the Beanie Babies, but with 'CHAMPION the BEANIE BUDDY" on the front and "The Beanie Buddies Collection" inside.
Japan had 2 Champion bears, one in Japanese, exclusive to Japan, and one in English with the rest of the 32 in the set. - As the countries were eliminated, the Beanies were retired. Brazil and Germany were the final 2, and Brazil won, becoming the World Champion with a score of 2 – 0. - Great addition to any Beanie collection! - TY - Collect them all!
