Barbaro is made from a dark brown material with a black fluffy mane and tail. He has black button eyes and a white stripe on his face and white socks on his two front legs. A pink saddle blanket is on his back with the number 8 and the word "Barbaro" written in black.

Barbaro the Horse was introduced on 31st October 2006. - He is a United States exclusive Beanie Baby named after the 2006 Kentucky Derby winner. - Barbaro was used to raise money for the Barbaro Fund at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. - This is the retail version of Barbaro. There was also a version exclusive to the Kentucky Derby store that had a special Kentucky Derby swing tag. - Barbaro was retired on 24th October 2007.

The item is in mint to near mint condition and comes with the original Ty tag.
