FIFA World Cup tournaments
(1934-1938, 1954-1998). Germany is
one of the only three countries to
win three FIFA World Cup Trophies
(1954, 1974, 1990). The other 2
countries are Brazil & Italy.
The German version of Champion is a fuzzy brown bear with black button eyes and a button nose with the German flag on it. It wears a gold ribbon tied around it's neck. On it's chest is a badge with the words "2002 FIFA World Cup" on it.
Champion the Bear was introduced on 4th April 2002. - There are 32 different versions of Champion, each representing the countries in the 2002 World Cup. This particular bear represents Germany. - Each version of Champion was retired separately on the day that country was eliminated from the 2002 World Cup. - The German Champion the Bear retired on 30th June 2002. - Collect them all!
The item is in mint to near mint condition and comes with the original tag.
