Batty is made from a brown and blue tie-dyed material with black button eyes and a brown button nose. Black felt has been used for his ears and the claws on his wings. He has velcro on his wings so you can fasten them.

The tie-dyed version of Batty the Bat was released on 1st January 1999. Batty was retired on 31st March 1999. - Batty is the only Beanie Baby to use velcro and this is used to attach his wings together.
