The brave warrior, Aragorn, was first to join The Fellowship of the Ring. A Ranger known as Strider, he was descended from ancient kings. Fated to one day reclaim the lost throne of Gondor in the Southern realm of Middle-earth, he was a strong and handsome man.

Arwen was a beautiful Elven princess, daughter of Elrond, granddaughter of Galadriel, the Queen of the Elves. Upon first meeting, she and Aragorn swore their love and made a pledge to each other. Years later, they were reunited in the peaceful valley of Rivendell, the mythical city. Together, they stood upon a stone bridge. Bathed in moonlight, the princess reminded her beloved that she has promised to bind herself to him, forsake the immortal life of her people. ' I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone.'

From that moment, as Aragorn faced fantastic armies and unimaginable foes, Arwen's enduring love remained with him. To prove his worthiness of a princess, Aragorn ultimately faced his destiny and claimed the throne of Gondor. And so they were finally married and Aragorn ruled as high king with Arwen as his queen.

The epic struggle for possession of The One Ring inspires a powerful and unforgettable trilogy of films. Now, the final movie, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, in turn inspires beautiful Barbie and Ken dolls, authentically re-created in loving detail.
