SUN SPOT TOTS are born at a very special time that occurs between May and June and is known as the Month of Maybe. This joyous month may last a minute or forever, and it is the children of the world who assure its return each year. Sometimes during the Month of Maybe, for some unexplained reason, spots appear on the face of the sun. It is well known that these sun spots are associated with unusual occurrences and so it is with these freckle-faced tots. They were all born with the same birthmark which bears a strong resemblance to a smiling sun peering out from behind a cloud. Each one comes with a certificate of birth stating that the tot was born at the same minute, hour and day as all the others with the SUN SPOT TOTS birthmark. Search for this birthmark, and when you find it, you are guaranteed that it is one of the genuine SUN SPOT TOTS.

Limited Edition No. 439 of 1,500 - Was 'born' at 6:00am on the First day of the Month of Maybe, in the year Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five. - Created by John Young, designed by Afroditi, and manufactured in the United States by White House Creations, Inc. - All SUN SPOT TOTS are hand crafted with head, arms and legs of fine bisque porcelain, hand painted faces, eye lashes and glass eyes. - Each doll stands approximately 18 inches high, is numbered, signed and dated on the neck to ensure authenticity and comes with a Certificate of Birth.

The box has some creasing, scuffing and edge wear. The doll does not appear to have been used. Includes Certificate of Authenticity.
