Unable to breathe on his own, Vader was forced to wear a breath mask and life supporting body armor. Vader's mask was the most terrifying and imposing of his armor and was equipped with visual-enhancement systems, hearing-augmentation devices, a Vocoder electronic voice synthesizer, and air intake/output vents.

This exquisitely handcrafted Authentic Miniature Darth Vader Helmet comes apart into three pieces: helmet, face and neck, for unobstructed viewing of the internal breathing apparatus and communication devices. This incredible level of detail is made possible by crafting this product in 45% scale from more than 50 Individual parts, all that are rigorously inspected and meticulously assembled by hand. This helmet was patterned off the movie original and features a swivel base hot stamped with the silver Imperial logo, die cast metal parts, authentic markings, and a certificate of authenticity signed by Lucasfilm Ltd.
