Description

This form appeared in "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah," the 22nd Godzilla film released in 1995. Godzilla, who lived with Little Godzilla on Birth Island in the South Pacific, had his internal energy run wild and become extremely hot due to the destruction of Birth Island. His body is burnt and charred in various places, and if his body temperature reaches 1200 degrees Celsius, Godzilla will melt from the inside and disappear.

Also known as Burning Godzilla, this "red Godzilla" pursued Godzilla Junior, who had grown up from Little Godzilla, and landed in Japan from Hong Kong. However, the Self-Defense Forces were unable to physically attack the high-temperature Godzilla because it could cause global damage, and the only way to stop Godzilla was to chemically eliminate it. Ignoring humanity's concerns, Godzilla engaged in a fierce battle with Destoroyah in the Tokyo Bay area, but immediately after winning the battle, its body temperature finally exceeded 1200 degrees Celsius.

When it premiered, the film became a hot topic due to its shocking tagline, "Godzilla Dies," and its bizarre appearance, glowing red. In fact, this was the first time a film had depicted Godzilla's death since the first film in 1954, a gap of 41 years. The original Godzilla in the first film was defeated by a chemical weapon called the "Oxygen Destroyer," but Burning Godzilla in the 22nd film dies after defeating Destoroyah, a life form revived by the Oxygen Destroyer.

Godzilla had defeated countless enemies that stood in his way, earning the title of "King of the Monsters," but he could not resist the immense energy that was eating away at him from within. However, the energy created at the cost of Godzilla's death revived Godzilla Junior, who had run out of power, and passed on his spirit to the next generation.
