To commemorate the 10th Anniversary on Broadway of The Phantom of the Opera, Mattel is proud to announce a Limited Edition set of Barbie and Ken dolls appearing in The Phantom of the Opera! These will be the first dolls in a collection that will celebrate the most loved characters from the Broadway stage. In this Phantom of the Opera giftset, Barbie and Ken are given special costumes that recall the luxuriant, gothic style of the original staging. As Christine, Barbie wears a romantic white-on-white print bridal gown, lavishly trimmed with lace, while a sheer veil adorns her long, dark-red hair. Meanwhile Ken cuts a dramatic figure in his black evening clothes, opera cape and the famous Phantom mask.
