MPC Super Van One of the Zappy New Zingers! Model Kit 01081

Introduced in 1971, the radical 1/32 scale simple-to-assemble Zinger models were designed by Denny Johnson. Hyped by MPC as the hairest and scariest muscle micro brutes, the popularity of the Zingers line spurred the manufacturing of larger vehicles for car shows that were based on the wide tire models. Back in the early '70s, I built of each of the eight models from the wild Zingers collection.
