The Mako Shark Car (XP-755 concept car) was originally designed by Larry Shinoda under the direction of General Motors, Bill Mitchell. This car is known for its signature paint scheme, this replica is dark blue fading to white and silver. Keeping with the name, the streamlining, pointed snout, and other detailing was partly inspired by the sleek, fast-moving shortfin mako shark and inspired by a mako shark caught by GM design chief Bill Mitchell.
