The pallid, young, and exceedingly ill looking Prince Herbert played by Terry Jones gazes out the window in the confinement of his father's castle, which much to the King's dismay, Herbert shows no interest in inheriting. Girls don't fascinate him but show tunes do. Not very becoming of the heir to the throne. Perhaps he has other aspirations, Broadway maybe, but alas, that actuality is still centuries away. So sadly he must languish in his room, under his father's watchful eye, awaiting an opportune moment to spontaneously break out in song.
