Description
Designed in 1914, the thoroughly 'tested Mack was in full production by January 1916. Used by the Allies during World War I it lived up to its nickname the 'Bull Dog Mack' given by the British when they saw its appearance and rugged qualities. Further development after the war enabled Mack to fully share in satisfying the demand for lorries as the U.S. Government pushed ahead with its road building programme. The: 1920 Mack had a 4 cylinder 7.7 litre engine, a 3 speed gear box and a final drive by rear chains.
