Sweet and serene, Summer Garden takes us back to bygone warm weather days! Her pinafore dress of antique white cotton has a crochet scallop trim band at high neckline and on edges of puff sleeves with eyelet flutter sleeve overlay. Pleasing blue tones dominate the delicate empire waist pinstripe apron overlay, which has antique white banding edge on arm openings. Extending below the apron, her dress is embellished near the hem with an airy trim band... a minuscule design of eyelet flowers between cut-work edges, so tiny! Cream leatherette finish shoes cover ankles, have tapered toes and have front satin ties. Her sturdy wicker basket is full of Cabbage Rose buds, creamy with just a hint of blush at petal tips. Summer Garden is so special! You can almost feel a light breeze as you gaze at her little face, framed by a broad brimmed hat with blue satin band that matches her little, blue braid ribbons.
