For the young Stinger, the decepticons are the real freedom fighters against tyranny, or that's what he's been told by other decepticons. Stinger is actually a rather polite and well meaning bot, who simply just thinks that he's on the right side of the war. He is also however a very effective, if rather reckless fighter, more akin to a simple brawler, using his strength in robot mode and speed in vehicle mode to outmaneuver and overwhelm opponents. He is aided by bladed blasters also named stingers, which inject a fast acting, corrosive venom into opponents.
