I Love Lucy Baby Lucy Vinyl Doll Grape Episode Precious Kids CBS 2006 NRFB

This charming baby Lucy doll is designed after the famous "Grape Stomping" episode. First airing on April 16, 1956, "Lucy's Italian Movie" takes place during the gang's European tour. Lucy is discovered by a movie producer while on the train to Rome. The producer wants to put Lucy in his new movie entitled, "Bitter Grapes". Thinking the movie is about the wine industry, Lucy decides to prepare for her big role by visiting a vineyard. She is hired to stomp grapes in the vat (because of her big feet!), but ends up in a huge food fight with another vineyard worker. Lucy returns to her hotel suite covered in purple juice only to learn that the movie role was that of a typical American tourist. When the producer gets a look at Lucy's purple face, he hires Ethel for the role!
