Description
Resting in a glass case in the lobby of Harley-Davidson's corporate headquarters on Juneau avenue in Milwaukee is a meticulously restored single-cylinder motorcycle lovingly referred to as Serial Number One. Dating to circa 1903, it is undisputedly the oldest Harley-Davidson motorcycle in existence. With its heavy loop frame, highly polished cases, and gleaming piano black finish, it was a harbinger of what was to come from the world's greatest motorcycle company 100 years later. The 2003 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic Electra glide® 100th anniversary edition sets the standard for modern touring luxury with a powerful 1450cc twin cam 88tm engine, five-speed transmission, fairing lowers, cruise control, CB intercom, front and rear speakers, and beautiful, vivid black and sterling silver paint.
