Every steamer needs its tender, and for the 2037 steam engine this year it was the 1130T. This was a basic model tender but it carried a sizable load of coal to fuel the engine and was a little workhorse with heart. The freight set with this tender, the 2037 engine, and the 6017 caboose, was a sturdy freight combination that formed a solid foundation for many a beginning model railroader.
