Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Lionel 265W Tender 2014

With its durable metal construction and exquisite detailing, the 1936 Pennsylvania Torpedo model train set is an enduring example of Lionel's innovation and craftsmanship, even in the depths of the Great Depression. The set included the 238E Pennsylvania Torpedo engine. 265W whistling tender, and 601 observation car.

The matching 265W whistle tender had the same finish as the Torpedo engine. It rolled on four-wheel trucks and featured an enclosed roof. Many examples of the 238E-265W combo are still in good working condition today, lovingly handed down by generations of model railroaders.
