Description

A long, long time ago, deep in an enchanted forest, a beautiful young princess walked into the woods on a brilliant spring day, tossing and catching a precious golden ball, as radiant as the sun. While she was merrily playing and singing gleefully, the ball rolled across the soft grass and fell into a deep spring.

The princess wept and promised to give away all her clothes and jewels if only she could recover her ball. From deep within the sparkling spring. a small green frog cried out, 'I wish for nothing fair princess but only to eat and sleep by your side.'

'Done,' said the princess. Yet, as soon as he gave her the ball, she forgot her promise completely and ran away to the castle in the sun.

The very next day, the frog arrived to claim his reward. Horrified, the princess refused her promise, but her father-being a wise and noble king- told her that she must fulfill it and welcomed the frog into the castle.

The king's advice was fortunate indeed, for after three days, the frog was magically trans- formed into a handsome prince. He told the princess of a curse that had been placed on him by a malicious fairy, and that her kindness had restored him to his true self.

The princess and her prince fell deeply in love. Soon they were married in the most glorious of ceremonies and happiness and joy reigned throughout the kingdom. And as is only fitting to a real fairy tale, the two lived happily ever after.
