The PYTHON PARA-VIPER OFFICER leads the deadliest, most highly trained aerial commandos in the COBRA legions. They oversee the deployment of paratroopers using the High-Altitude, Low-Opening (HALO) technique, where they free-fall at terminal velocity, and open their parachutes at altitudes as low as 600 meters. The combination of high downward speed and their Next-Generation grid camouflage helps to defeat radar detection and reduces the amount of time a parachute might be visible to ground observers, enabling a stealthy insertion.

Each PYTHON PARA-VIPER OFFICER is assigned a squad that will form up into a stack while airborne with their parachutes. They take the lowest position to set the travel course and act as a guide for the other team members. Once on the ground, they direct their elite troops to take out perimeter security for the main assault force.
