A limited-edition collector's toy tractor to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the John Deere Model A tractor. The Model A was introduced by John Deere in 1934. It was the industry's first row-crop tractor with truly adjustable rear wheel tread. The introduction of adjustable wheel tread provided more flexibility farmers needed for differing row-crop spacing and other work on the farm. Farmers welcomed the A and the changes it introduced. In fact, the Model A became the most popular tractor in the company's history.
