The statue is based on the final scene from the movie when E.T. says goodbye to Elliot and his family. This classic sci-fi movie still has a strong presence. After being left behind by the aliens who came to observe plants on Earth and collect samples, E.T. deepens his friendship with the 10-year-old boy Elliot. This statue perfectly captures E.T.'s unique, adorable form.
