Twentieth Century Fox's "The Sound of Music', 1965 winner of five Academy Awards, including "Best Picture", is one of the most popular movie musicals of all time. The movie captures the adventurous story of a distinguished musical family, the von Trapps, who became world renowned as the Trapp Family Singers. From the opening scene of the movie, when Maria whirls through the Alpine meadow singing, to the final scene where the family climbs every mountain to escape the Nazis, the movie peaks with spectacular cinematography and musical performances that lift the spirits and strike a musical note in movie-goes everywhere. Today, more than 35 years after its original release, "The Sound of Music" has become timeless, more treasured by repeat viewers and discovered with delight by each generation.

The building appears to be in perfect condition. Tested to ensure that the lighting works and comes with the appropriate light cord. The box has some very minor creasing and shelf wear.
