Each piece is handcrafted of ceramic, individually hand painted, and fired with a glaze finish. Cast into the mold is the Department 56 logo - your guarantee of authenticity. Every year pieces are retired and the molds broken leaving room for new pieces that capture the heart and spirit of small town America.
