"Lady in the Dark" of the 548th Night Fighter Squadron was probably the most famous Black Widow of the war. Credited as the last scoring plane of WWII, the Lady achieved this last victory without firing a shot, but by forcing two Imperial Japanese fighters into the sea on the night of 15 August 1945.
