NIGHTSTICK holds black-belts in three different martial arts and is an acknowledged master of Wing-Chin (sticky-hands) Kong-Fu. He is also a regional kick-boxing champion. Nightstick has demonstrated his mastery of the martial arts to numerous law enforcement agencies throughout the country, so that they might be better able to defend themselves.

At one point, Nightstick was invited by his local police department to instruct officers in hand-to-hand combat. He soon found that the challenge of using his skills in real- life situations made even full-contact sparring seem dull and senseless!
