She is the height of early sixties" elegance, looking very regal in her majestic evening ensemble. The year is 1963, a time of optimism, change and sophisticated style... and Barbie is in the fashion forefront.

This Limited Edition reproduces two Barbie originals. Barbie doll with a bubble cut and pink lips, pink fingernails and toenails. And the hard-to-find fashion, "Sophisticated Lady" (#993). The taffeta ballgown, trimmed in silver-tone filigree lace, has a wide, sweeping shirt. Adding to the dramatic effect is a fully lined sleeveless coat with stand-up collar and silvery bead buttons. A silvery tiara, opera- length gloves, a simple strand of pink faux pearls, pink earrings and pink open-toe pumps complete her royal ensemble.
