The six band members in the series were also in a band called RBD in real life and were very successful internationally until 2009. In the telenovela, the music played is mostly performed by themselves. Introducing three dolls from the characters of the popular Rebelde® telenovela and hot pop-rock music group RBD: Roberta, Mia and Lupita!
