Inspired by the paintings of Edgar Degas, Barbie® is a beautiful ballerina made of fine bisque porcelain. Dressed in a classic ballet gown with a corset-style bodice, delicate chiffon sleeves, and a multi-pleated tulle skirt, she is the personification of grace. The layers of her skirt are various hues, evoking a similar palette to Degas' paintings. Flowers accent her shoulder and waist, with a lovely organza bow in the back. She wears a simple black silk ribbon at her neck, and ivory ballet slippers. And true to the paintings that inspired her, Barbie® doll's brunette hair is styled in a chignon bun and decorated with flowers.
