American Girl Samantha's Doll Miniature Doll Holding Toy Solider Accessory 1988

Samantha's Doll was introduced to Samantha's Collection in 1986, this mini doll is associated with the book Samantha's Surprise. The story states that the doll is themed after the ballet The Nutcracker, with the doll carrying a wooden soldier that looks like the one from the ballet! This little doll measures around 6 inches tall, has black hair tied back in a pink bow, wears a pink dress decorated with white lace, pink pantalettes and pink slippers. She holds an attached wooden toy soldier in her right hand. Also included is a rose-colored velvet mini clutch purse with a gold clasp and two white lace-trimmed handkerchiefs with embroidered flowers.
