This time, agent 007 faces Elliot Carver, a media mogul who plans to boost ratings by creating a conflict between Britain and China by sinking a Navy frigate. Naturally Bond is the man to end this lunatic scheme, and it doesn't take him long to find the action, including a rooftop motorcycle chase, a high altitude parachute jump with a potentially lethal twist and a confrontation with Carver's giant chief enforcer, 'Stamper'.
