Since his UK launch in 1966 Action Man has been the Nation's favourite action figure. At first the range consisted of a soldier, sailor and a pilot, but was rapidly extended to cope with the demand. During the late sixties, seventies and early eighties most boys (and some girls!) had one or more Action Man figures in their toy cupboard. The addition of gripping hands in 1975 added to Action Man's realistic appearance, as did the legendary 'Eagle Eyes' in 1978. Action Man finally bowed out in 1986.

With his re-launch in 1993 by Hasbro, Action Man is now as popular as ever, and an exciting new range of accessories and vehicles means he looks set to continue into the next millennium.

In celebration of 30 years since his launch, this exclusive Limited Edition Action Man figure has been created to capture the spirit of the original (though the original 1966 body moulds have mysteriously vanished).
