The 1978 holiday season offered an ever-so-slightly different version of the prior year's Fuel Oil Tanker. This truck has the same working lights and design as it did in 1977, but features a bolder Hess logo on the rear side of the tanker.

The box has wear, scratching, scuffing and staining from age. The truck has some wear, scuffing and discoloration from age. A piece has broken off the top of the trucks cabin and is included. The lights no longer work. The batteries have been removed. Does not include the box / packaging insert or instruction card.
