Description
The Chevrolet® C-65 Series set the standard for short-cab trucks in the mid 1970s. The 97-1/2" BBC (Bumper-to-Back-of-Cab) allowed bigger payload, longer body or trailer, good weight distribution and ease of maneuvering. Short-hood design aided down-front visibility as well, and put the 230 horsepower, 427 V-8 engine components within easy reach for maintenance and repair. As lasting tribute to the rugged engineering of the Chevy C-65 and GMC version 6500 Sierra model, many of these trucks are still on the job today!
The Highway 61 Collectibles Heavy-Duty Fire Truck is a highly-detailed 1:16 replica, almost 18 long.
