Rectangular cases with zip-open tops were known as travel pals or train cases. Fashions on this 1961 travel pal resembled but were not exact reproductions of- Golden Girl, Plantation Belle, Cotton Casual, Resort Set, Apple Print Sheath, and Cruise Stripes. The BARBIEM name and two dresses appeared in blue on this case but were golden in color on another version.
