Derby is made from a light brown material with black button eyes and black stitching for his nostrils. He has a white "star" patch on his forehead. His mane and tail are made from a fluffy brown material.

Derby was released on 15th December 1998. His birthday is on 16th September 1995. He was retired on 26th May 1999.
There are four versions of Derby. There is this version with a star and a fluffy mane, one with with no star and a coarse mane, one with no star and a fine yarn mane, another version with a star and a coarse yarn mane.
The item is in mint to near mint condition.
