Ty Beanie Babies Cheeks the Baboon Plush 1999

Cheeks is made from a dark brown speckled material with dark brown hands, feet, ears and eyebrows. He has brown and black button eyes and a peach colored button nose. His face is bright red surrounded by pale blue and black striped material. His rear end is made from a tie-dyed material.

Don't confuse me with an ape
I have a most unusual shape
My cheeks are round and ty-dyed red
On my behind as well as my head!

Cheeks was introduced on 1st May 1999. He retired on 23rd December 1999. 

Cheeks is often referred to as a baboon. However, the colors on his face and rear appear more like another primate, called a mandrill. 

The item is in mint to near mint condition.
