Shirley Temple Authentic Paper Dolls & Dresses Book 1991 Dover #26610

Reprinted from a rare original edition published by The Saalfield Publishing Company in 1937, the present volume includes two 11" tall dolls and 16 appealing full-color costumes: red-and-white windowpane-checked sundress, brown riding breeches, pleated orange party dress with purple bows, a smartly belted off-white sun suit and a pair of pink pajamas with cap sleeves, trimmed in blue. As a special added feature, black-and-white photographic insets on each costume page show Shirley wearing the original outfits copied by the artist for this collection.
Complementing the lovable moppet's wardrobe are a variety of period playthings and accessories - toy horse and long-eared pooch, hats, purses, jack-in-the-box, toy soldier and more. Shirley Temple fans will find this volume a treasure chest of rich memories; paper doll fans and children of all ages can look forward to hours of fun-filled entertainment.
