Her marvelous recipes turned out batches of the most taste- tempting treats, all made lovingly by hand with the finest ingredients: fresh dairy butter and cream, premium quality pure Hawaiian cane sugar, and the finest chocolate, and were sent freshly made to the soon-to-be familiar cottage-like shops. But, who would help the customers with their selections?

Mary See knew the customer must be greeted with a smile, a friendly word or two, and then, a sample of her fresh-from-the-kettle product. From the beginning. See's Candies shops were staffed with people who made the customers want to come back again and again for more of Mary See's delicious candies.

"Quality Without Compromise" has always been true for the people behind See's candy counters, so when Barbie® doll went to apply for her first job, she picked See's Candies. Barbie® had always found that a present of See's made anyone happy on a birthday, the holidays, or for a hostess gift when she was invited to dinner.
