Mobile Suit Gundam Gundam VS Zaku II Model Kit 1996 Bandai #11069 NRFB
Description
The RZ-79[G] was created using spare parts from the development of the RX-78 Gundam. A small number of these Gundams were produced on a trial basis, and stationed at Federation Forces bases on Earth. The RX-79[G] Gundam is designed specifically for land warfare, omitting all the RX-78 type's space combat systems. otherwise, it has all the abilities of the original Gundam, and this versatile mobile suit can be equipped with a wide variety of optional equipment and weapons. The Kojima Battalion stationed in Southeast Asia has 12 of these gundams, three of which are assigned to the 08th MS Team led by Shiro Amada.
The MS-06J Zaku II is the land warfare version of the Principality of Zeon's standard mobile suit. The Zaku II was originally created for space combat, but with the removal of unnecessary hardware and a redesign of its internal systems, it proved to be an adequate ground weapon. Since these modifications were based on simulations performed in space, the J type Zaku II still has problems dealing with Earth's environment, and frontline troops often modify it to meet their needs: The version used by Zeon forces in Southeast Asia has a set of spikes on its right shoulder shield, to increase its melee combat abilities.
