Beginning with a model line of 3 die-cast miniature toys in 1953, Matchbox Miniatures had grown to a line of 75 by the 1960s. The "Denver" arrived in 1966. It was one of 3 number 29-C Fire Pumpers which appeared in the I-75 Series that year. This set of Keepsake Ornaments replicates both the Denver Fire Pumper and its original "Matchbox" series container, a combination highly prized by collectors.
