The tomb is rumored to contain the technological secrets of an ancient alien spacecraft. Remy's mission brings him into conflict with the X-Cutioner, a man who dons the technological equipment of the X-Men's greatest foes and uses them to execute any mutant suspected of being a danger to society, who also wants the artifact. After being trapped by the X-Cutioner's paste-blasting weapon, Gambit defeats him by charging up a piece of chewing gum in his mouth and spitting it at his opponent with explosive results.
