Description
MANDAN REFINERY
Dedicated on October 2, 1954, the Mandan Refinery was built as a 30,000 barrel-a-day operation, but now processes 58,000 barrels of crude oil a day. In the beginning. Mandan produced gasolines called Red Crown and White Crown, Standard Heater Oil, Stanolax Furnace Oil, and industrial fuel oil which were then shipped by truck and rail. Today, a pipeline to Moorhead, Minnesota brings Amoco lead-free gasolines to several terminals for redistribution to Amoco service stations throughout the plains states. This Mandan Refinery
