Hot Wheels 1968 Silhouette and Case Set of 2 Ornaments Hallmark Keepsake 2001

Produced from 1968 through 1971, the SILHOUETTE™ qualifies as "the most remem-bered car of its era." Everything about it screams POWER! From its California hot rod styling, with large rear tires and mag wheels, to the exposed engine and side pipes, the SILHOUETTE delivered on the HOT WHEELSTM promise: the hottest metal cars in the world! The original SILHOUETTE was designed and built by Bill Cushenbery.

This set of Keepsake Ornaments features the SILHOUETTE in the highly prized purple-metallic color one of 14 colors available at that time. A 25th-anniversary edition of the SILHOUETTE was issued in 1993. The Collector's Case ornament is reminiscent of a case first offered in 1969. You can display it alongside the SILHOUETTE or store the car ornament inside the case.
