Description
This G.I. Joe represents the U.S. Army 30th infantry Division soldier equipped with an M1 flamethrower. The 30th fought at St Lo, Aachen, Malmedy, Stavelot, and in the Rhine crossings in World War II. His two-piece herringbone twill uniform was worn during the invasion of Normandy but was replaced soon thereafter due to its similarity to a pattern worn by enemy soldiers.
