Each limited edition, fully poseable, 12" figure commemorates the spirit of the original G.I. Joe "Action Soldiers" from 1964. Figures include specialized accessories and classical-ly styled combat manuals for added action and collectibility.

These exclusive, 12" commemorative edition figures have been classically styled "as close as possible to the original G.I. Joe Action Soldiers, right down to their multi-jointed, poseable bodies. In fact, the heads of the four commemorative figures have been taken directly from an original head casting mold used for the 1964 figures. The forgotten me had been collecting dust for years, unnoticed in a back room at Hasbro. Unfortunately, the location of the actual body molds remains a mystery. Some were rumored to have sunk on a ship, while others may have been traced to companies as far away as England and Japan, where they were most likely dis mantled for scrap, or sadly discarded. Even though the original G.1. Joe molds no longer exist, these commemorative figures stand as a symbol to G.I Joe, "A Real American Hero!"
