Unit pride runs deep within the Arctic Warrior Brigade, many of its units have won distinguished places in the annals of American Military history. The 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, the 'Geronimo' Battalion, was the first airborne battalion ever organized by the U.S. Military. The 'Geronimo' Battalion is also the nations only Arctic Airborne Battalion.

Highly disciplined, the Brigade often exceeds the Army's strictest requirements for leadership, combat readiness, and soldier deportment.
