Created in 1953 as his 14th animated masterpiece, Walt Disney's Peter Pan was inspired by Sir James Barries' stage classic and adapted to fill the big screen with Disney magic. As a collector doll, Captain Hook has been authentically and meticulously recreated, from the top of his plume to his ominous hook-hand, shiny buckles and sword.

Captain Hook is perched menacingly aboard his ship, with full articulation for animated action poses. His one-of-a-kind face sculpting and painting evokes thoughts of his road to revenge on the invincible Peter Pan.

In developing the character of Captain Hook, the writers meshed dark, clever cunning with outrageous, comedic bumbling. The audience both despised Hook, yet found him hopelessly, amusingly human.

On screen, Captain Hook sees him- self as a suave, smooth operator, and his creators' choice of costume in the film reflects Hook's debonair "savoir faire."
