Department 56 began in 1976 with the introduction of six band- painted lighted ceramic buildings the first pieces of The Original Snow Village. As this collection continued to grow, so did the company. Today Department 56 offers many different Village series.

Building appears to be in perfect condition. Tested to ensure that the lighting works and comes with the appropriate light cord. The outer sleeve/box has staining.
